Design Technologies:

For the design aspect of our websites and graphic design projects we use the following software:

	Our designers are strong supporters of the Adobe Software Suites.
	Adobe Photoshop is the leading software for graphic design. 90% of the design is done with this very flexible and powerful software.
	Digiworks Design use Adobe Illustrator for most of the vector graphics, and larger print projects.
	Adobe Flash (formerly owned by Macromedia) is used for animating visual effects and interactivity. Animating Flash Design is becoming more and more apparent in creating a much more interactive atmosphere for the user. Not only will it create that much more professional look, it will also catch the eye of your visitors, drawing them to the services you have to offer.

Development Technologies:

For the development aspect of our website projects we use the following software:

	PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) is an open-source programming language used mainly for developing server-side applications and dynamic web content, and more recently, other software. PHP allows interaction with a large number of relational database management systems, such as MySQL, Oracle, IBM DB2, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL and SQLite. PHP runs on most major operating systems. Digiworks Design chose PHP amongst all of the other scripting languages for server side programming because of its popularity (It is installed on almost all hosts) and because of its flexibility. It can be used for a variety of simple tasks without the need to install and configure big libraries or frameworks, and it can be used for building enormous web and rich internet applications.
	phpMyAdmin is a popular and powerful open-source program that is used to develop and manage MySQL databases.
	MySQL is a multithreaded, multi-user, SQL (Structured Query Language) Database Management System (DBMS).
	Apache is a free and open-source web server software system. Apache is said to be the most popular of all web server systems today. This system runs on most common platforms, such as Linux and Windows.
	Linux is an open-source operating system based on Unix. Linux is distributed free and its source code can be modified by anyone who chooses alter it. It is often used as an operating system for network servers since it's stability and security are very reliable.
